As of today, I will no longer be keeping a website change-log for the TinkerersBlog.net.

I have given the Tinkerer’s Blog change-log enough time to test its utility. And honestly, it fails a basic cost-benefit analysis. The initial idea of it being used as a means to keep track of activity within the website, and guide the users towards the general trajectory of activity done by me – does have value.

However, it is insignificant when compared to the extra work load of actually having to manage and maintain it. It genuinely adds yet another layer of friction for successfully producing content for this website. Something that I am already struggling with as is, with my busy lifestyle and its myriad commitments. As such friction must be removed/limited in order to allow me to increase my output here. This blog’s workflow must be streamlined for the sake of efficiency. And this change log isn’t valuable enough to justify its continued existence within that paradigm.

In addition. At time of writing, the current state of the change-log is out-of-date. I forgot to upkeep it during the past couple of entries. And now it would be more work than it is worth to go back and update it using dates concurrent to the previous entries’ publications. For nothing really, in terms of a return for efforts and time.

Oh well. It was a nice experiment.

Thank you for reading.
